Dr. Landon L. Liska

Dr. Landon Lance Liska is a dedicated Behavioral and Developmental Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist specializing in learning related vision problems in school aged children.

Licensed by the National Board of Optometry, Texas Optometry Board, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, He is currently the Chief Medical Director and President of Rio Grande Valley Family Eye Care which he started in February 2004.

Dr. Liska’s 5 years of postgraduate training began with internships at Houston Eye Associates and Mann-Berkeley Eye Centers in Houston, Texas. He also performed training in Neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Houston College of Optometry where he earned his Therapeutic Optometry and Optometric Glaucoma Specialty in 2002.

Dr. Liska is a native to the Rio Grande Valley. He graduated Salutatorian of his high school class in Donna, Texas in 1993, and went on to receive his bachelor in Biochemistry from Texas Tech University in 1997.

Through ongoing seminars, he has made a goal to educate teachers, nurses, parents, other eye doctors and family physicians on learning related eye problems.

Dr. Liska and his wife, Michelle Liska, have a girl named Tatum and a son named Trenton. He enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
